Email headers contain information related to the body of an email.  This information includes but is not limited to the following:

1. Email sender
2. Recipient of email
3. Date information (sending and receiving time stamps of MTAs)
4. Email content type
5. Other pertinent information

To view email header information in Mozilla Thunderbird 3, follow the steps below:

1. Click on “View”.
2. Click on “Headers”.
3. Select “All”

The header information section of your email should expand to reveal all the header information related to your email (see example image below).

To return to the normal view for Mozilla Thunderbird email header information, simply follow the same steps and select “Normal” instead of “All” in the menu.
